Six of Vasoryn's eight named ingredients are grouped without an individual milligram amount. Niacin and Zinc are the exception — here's what that disclosure looks like.
TWO NUTRIENTS, FULLY DISCLOSED
TWO NUTRIENTS, FULLY DISCLOSED
Percent Daily Values as printed on the label — individual needs vary
Vitamin B3 (Niacin) — 20 mg, 125% DV
Niacin is a B-vitamin involved in energy metabolism. Vasoryn's label lists 20 mg per serving, 125% of the Daily Value. At this amount, the flushing sensation sometimes associated with high-dose niacin is unlikely — that effect is typically studied at doses well above 20 mg.
Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) — 11 mg, 100% DV
Zinc is a mineral involved in immune function and antioxidant processes. Vasoryn's label lists 11 mg per serving as zinc oxide, 100% of the Daily Value.
Why These Two Are Disclosed Separately
Unlike the six botanical and amino-acid ingredients in Vasoryn's Proprietary Blend, Niacin and Zinc are required to carry a Daily Value percentage on the Supplement Facts panel, which is why they're printed with a full milligram amount.
A Note on Individual Response
Zinc and Niacin are both generally well tolerated at these amounts. If you take other supplements containing zinc or niacin, add up your total daily intake to avoid exceeding recommended limits.
